Who would have guessed a game with such average assets would actually be pretty good? Considering that 2K does not have a license for NFL assets, this may have worked to their advantage. The developers had to focus on making a game with good gameplay. Additionally, a high level of customization allowing players to do whatever they want in team-building. Maybe they could recreate the New England Patriots?
